Do digestive enzymes correct the issue at the cause? - gut health, digestion, bloating

The truth about digestive enzymes: You shouldn't waste your money on most of them. I agree with this.

1️⃣ Most enzyme products:
❌ are not full spectrum
❌do not provide 100% pH coverage
❌do not break down the difficult to digest stuff completely Supplement enzymes are not regulated by the FDA. You have to trust the brand in supplements or it may not be wise to take them.

2️⃣ People think digestive enzymes are a one product solution for bloating. They are not. Bloating is caused by gastritis, gastroparesis, low stomach acid, slow motility, SIBO, SIFO, IBS, IBD, H. pylori overgrowth, E. coli, C. diff, GERD, silent reflux / LPR, etc. There is not a quick fix for bad bloating for most people. And if you do find an enzyme that helps with bloating, it is a band-aid. It isn't fixing anything at the root of the problem.

Here is how I use enzymes and why I suggest taking them.
✅ Pick an enzyme product from a reputable gut brand
✅ If you feel like you have poor nutrient absorption they work very well to improve that
✅ Take them at the beginning of meals and take them in the right dosing for the meal. Small meals, take 1 capsule. Larger meals, take 2 capsules. Massive holiday type meals, take 3 capsules.
✅ I take 2 capsules of Digestive Enzymes with my largest protein meals to maximize protein usage so I don't have to eat protein all day to build lean muscle.
✅ People that take the right enzymes and have digestive issues do notice that they are helpful. Our enzymes are one of our most popular products because they are formulated well and they do work.
✅ As we age, we naturally reduce our production of enzymes. We normally suggest people over the age of 40 consider taking a good enzyme.

If you have chronic bloating, you need a full protocol for your specific needs. I'm sorry. Bloating is complex. It is a symptom, not a cause.

What if enzymes hurt your stomach?
You most likely have low stomach acid or gastritis issues. With this issue please ask for help with a different approach to gut health so enzymes don't cause pain anymore.
