How do antibiotics cause weight gain? - gut health, probiotics

While many say that it "may" or is "positively linked to weight gain", there are also groups that straight up conclude that antibiotics cause weight gain.

How, you might ask?

Antibiotics change the microbiome, which alters the way you break down foods and "...increasing the calories of nutrients absorbed. This, in turn, can increase weight gain."

This appears to be more true with children that use antibiotics early on in life.
