Signs of Enzyme Deficiency - gut health, bloating, gas, probiotics

Are your probiotics helping restore enzyme production or not?

Let's start at the very beginning.

1️⃣ Probiotics are not all alike. There are reseeding strains like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. There are also environmental gut management strains like B. coagulans and S. boulardii. With Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains you are "reseeding" the gut with strains you may (or may not) be deficient in. Most of these strains do not easily survive digestion but still offer benefits even when dead. Environmental management strains naturally survive digestion and help restore balance and microbial diversity in the gut. These are two different approaches to probiotics.

❓️Are there good reseeding strains? Yes. We think so.
❓️Are they the ideal place to start to rebuild the gut? No. We think they are best taken after the gut is better.

2️⃣ Key management probiotic strains can increase enzyme production (even DAO enzyme production for histamine intolerance).

3️⃣ Probiotics may or may not be the place for you to start. But they do need to be part of your gut restoration protocol at the right time.

4️⃣ Gut management strains are shown to help restore, balance, and strengthen the gut barrier.

If you have questions or would like more information, please send us a DM on Instagram.

If you only have mild gut issues and are concerned with nutrient absorption, enzyme production, and digestion, DM us #Probiotic. If you'd like a more comprehensive plan to restore the gut, DM us #Buildup. We are very good at helping build the gut back up again to restore proper balance.*

If you have all sorts of gut issues and need help (including building up the gut so you can eat again without all the discomfort), DM us #Protocol. Let us know why you are messaging us and we can help. Please do not be bothered if we don't start you on probiotics until later. There is a reason. Please feel free to ask us what that reason is if you'd like.*
