Does gut health affect mental health?


Each year more and more research shows that an unhealthy imbalanced gut loaded in inflammation causes mood issues.

The research (in Psychology Today) also suggests that pairing gut health measures with antidepressants showed significant improvements in mood compared to the placebo.

Maybe gut health measures should be considered as part of a way to help with mental health issues?
