Bad breath can be caused by gut health issues - gut health, bad breath

Do you do all the things (brush, gargle, floss) when it comes to oral hygiene but still have bad breath? Then what?

If you have gut issues, that may be the next best place to look. Candida overgrowth, bacterial imbalances, SIBO, IBS, GERD, h. pylori overgrowth, etc are gut problems that may be associated with your bad breath and can be cleaned up.

Not to get too personal, but years ago when I had bad reflux issues I used to burp up the most foul-smelling stuff. Even I was shocked by how bad it was. I had no idea how to get rid of it. I was very diligent about my oral care as well.

It all went away when I cleaned up my gut. Good riddance too!

When someone asks about a gut health protocol for bad breath I assume a whole host of issues and then I suggest the Slow Motility + protocol. It is a full top-down approach to gut health. It is our way of assuming that everything is an issue from candida overgrowth, dysbiosis, and low stomach acid to SIBO, IBS, and leaky gut.
