Yes, taking the RIGHT form of saffron has been shown to help reduce PMS problems. Not all forms of saffron work the same (trust us, we've tried a LOT of them).

We were working to launch a product for stress and then found in our one-on-one pre-launch testing that using a specific type of saffron was helping a lot of women with normally really bad PMS issues. That was not what we were looking for, but it happened nonetheless. It worked for a lot of women.

Having 4 daughters, this was great news.

Does it actually help with stress, sleep, etc.? Yes.

But the dosing for sleep is 60 mg (two capsules per day). I would not suggest taking them both in the morning or you'll want to take a long nap about 4 pm. Either take 1 in the morning and 1 at night, or take both of them at night. Personally speaking, I pair the caffeinated version with another 150 mg of caffeine in the morning to help with focus and then take a non-caffeinated capsule at night about an hour before bed.

As for my daughters, I have them take 1 capsule with more caffeine before school for focus issues and then take a non-caffeinated capsule at night before bed. It works great. If they stop taking it or forget to keep taking I (unfortunately) notice.
