Why is supplementing with magnesium important? - gut health

Magnesium helps with everything from bone health to anxiety/stress. And since over 50% of American’s are deficient in magnesium maybe we should all seriously consider supplementing with magnesium.
Low levels of magnesium are associated with digestive issues and migraines. Here are signs of magnesium deficiency:
 Muscle spasms
 Loss of appetite
 Nausea and vomiting
 Fatigue and weakness
 Constipation
 High blood pressure
 Acid reflux/heartburn
 Brain fog
 Irritability
My personal experience testing magnesium? I personally found that pairing Magnesium L-threonate with Quiet Serenity later in the day (and taking Magnesium L-Threonate with breakfast) helps me sleep and manage stress really well.
I find that magnesium citrate or magnesium oxide can be helpful for constipation issues. And that magnesium usually helps people with acid reflux/heartburn issues.
I have found pairing magnesium and zinc-carnosine to be helpful when taking Upper GI Relief.
What’s your experience with magnesium?
