The how and why of immunoglobulins when it comes to cleaning up the gut - gut health, detox, immune support

Do you need to clean up the gut? Do you need to strengthen the gut barrier? You may have worries about H. pylori, C. diff, E. coli, candida, etc. Maybe. Maybe you are worried about "leaky gut?"

Every day the body produces up to 2 grams of secretory IgA (SIgA or an antibody/immunoglobulin) in the intestines to start binding all the bad things floating through the system. They do this through a process called "immune exclusion". SIgA prevents antigens/pathogens from breaching the gut barrier, which helps keep the body from being inflamed.

While there are probiotics like S. boulardii and B. subtilis that can stimulate SIgA production, you can also take an oral supplementation of immunoglobulins, which also use immune exclusion, to supplement a system that may be already taxed and may need more immunoglobulins to reduce gut problems and pathogens entering into circulation in the body.

In step 1 of cleaning up the gut, we like the process of tearing out the bad things coupled with the soaking up action of immunoglobulins together for about 3 to 4 months. This is great for imbalances and the gut barrier.

In step 2, we like the push-pull relationship of immunoglobulins and gut management probiotics shown to not only further clean up the gut but also increasing bacteria diversity, continue strengthening the gut barrier, and further reducing inflammatory processes so future issues are diverted.
