I read a lot of information about how people don’t need any added daily vitamins. In some cases, I agree with that. I too believe nutrients are best sourced from foods. The problem is that a person would have to consume huge amounts of produce to get a full range of nutrients daily.

The data for Vitamin B6 helping with mood, brain health, etc. suggests a person needs to take a high daily dose (100 mg) of Vitamin B6 in order for it to help. A normal daily dose is between .3 mg and 1.7 mg.

Also, the research is clear to suggest a person not stop medications for anxiety and depression but that a high dose of Vitamin B6 may provide additional support.
