The day I finally said, “Screw it. I don’t care anymore. Bring it on,” is the day I started feeling less anxiety.
Turns out there is science behind this approach.
“Accepting that anxiety is normal and not inherently dangerous could stop it from spiraling out of control.”
Many of you, like me, struggle with stress and anxiety. It took me years to learn to turn my brain off after 6 pm and mentally shelve all issues. The problem is that they then pop up early in the morning. I attack them by working it out at the gym and it makes me feel much better.
That’s my secret. What’s yours?
Accepting anxiety, not fighting it, is a powerful tool
