Even the best supplements can't offset an unhealthy lifestyle-probiotics, intermittent fasting, prebiotics, gut health

Even the best supplements alone will NOT offset a bad lifestyle: too much sugar, too little sleep, too much takeout, too much stress, turning to meds for solving everything, etc.
.
But life is all about balance too. Infections happen (and require antibiotics). Stress is on the rise (in most people). Holidays, vacations, and celebrations are going to take place (typically involving unhealthy food and drinks).
.
The goal isn’t to avoid life or not live. The goal is to have the good in abundance and the bad occasionally, so the gut and body are healthy.

1️⃣ The right supplements matter. People say “I get everything I need from fruits, vegetables, apple cider vinegar, and fermented foods. I don’t need supplements.” Healthy eaters with very balanced diets still get sick and have stomach issues all the time. That’s a fact. People need assistance to maintain gut health.
2️⃣ Fruits and vegetables feed good bacteria. If we all ate a lot more fruits and vegetables, we would all be much better off. Changing cravings to fruits and vegetables is one of our goals at Silver Fern™ Brand.
3️⃣ Intermittent fasting isn’t about weight loss; it is about changing the bacteria composition in the gut to favor good bacteria. Good bacteria thrive during the daily fasted state. Intermittent fasting is for gut health.
Men need 14-16 hours a day (5-6 days a week). Women need 12-14 hours a day (5-6 days a week).
4️⃣ Exercise and sleep help with gut health.
5️⃣ Reducing more and more of the unhealthy things entering the body will allow good bacteria to thrive and bad bacteria to die. The Western Diet (heavy proteins and bad fats, soda, candy, fast food, etc.) is really hard on gut health.
.
We don’t ask people to do extreme diets because it isn’t sustainable and excluding the celebration of foods and drinks doesn’t work for most people. Finding balance is the secret.
