Directions For Baking

You Will Need:

  • One 9”x9” Baking Pan
  • ¼ Cup (4Tbsp.) Coconut Oil (consistency of butter)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 Packet of German Chocolate Brownie Mix

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine all ingredients and with a spatula mix completely. (Brownie batter will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until batter is fully incorporated, can take 2 full minutes of mixing. Do not add more water than listed in directions).
  3. Once batter is mixed, spread brownie batter evenly onto a lightly greased (sprayed) 9”x9” baking pan.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 12-15 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

By formulating and implementing a natural sugar substitute we were able to start reducing the net carbs. We also realized we couldn’t use a lot of traditional flour in our mixes. After a long search we discovered ingredients (including other flours) that offered many of the same benefits as traditional flour but with more fiber, protein, and good fats.

Do you think sugar is bad?

It is our opinion that some sugars, like those found in fruit, are okay. But we do believe one should reduce sugar intake wherever possible to improve one’s health. Silver Fern™ Brand does all it can to remove sugar from its products.

Do Paka baking mixes cause gas?

Yes. More fiber can cause more gas. Paka baking mixes use a special blend of fibers, however, to reduce stomach discomfort.

Do you believe one should avoid carbohydrates?

You Will Need:

  • One 9”x9” Baking Pan
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Packet of Lemon Bar Crust and Lemon Bar Filling

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine 3 Tbsps. room temperature butter and 1 packet of Lemon Bar Crust Mix, with a spatula knead butter into crust mix until dough forms. (Crust will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until crust is fully incorporated and holds into a ball, this can take 2 full minutes of mixing). DO NOT ADD WATER
  3. Once crust is mixed, place in the middle of 9”x9” baking pan and spread with fingers and palm of hand evenly onto a lightly greased (sprayed) 9”x9” baking pan.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 8 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Filling: (while crust is cooling)

  1. In a medium size bowl combine ½ cup lemon juice, 2 eggs and 1 packet of Lemon Bar Filling Mix, with a whisk mix completely.
  2. Once filling is mixed, pour directly onto already baked crust.
  3. Place back in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for an additional 18-20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

You Will Need:

  • One 9”x9” Baking Pan
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup 2% Milk
  • 1 Packet of Crème Brulee Crust and Crème Brulee Filling

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine 3 Tbsps. room temperature butter and 1 packet of Crème Brulee Crust Mix, with a spatula knead butter into crust mix until dough forms. (Crust will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until crust is fully incorporated and holds into a ball, this can take 2 full minutes of mixing). DO NOT ADD WATER
  3. Once crust is mixed, place in the middle of 9”x9” baking pan and spread with fingers and palm of hand evenly onto a lightly greased (sprayed) 9”x9” baking pan.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 7 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

You Will Need:

  • ½ Cup melted butter
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • ½ Cup Water

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine all ingredients and with a spatula mix completely. (Batter will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until batter is fully incorporated).
  3. Once batter is mixed, spray 9x9 baking pan with non stick spray and pour batter into pan.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 20-22 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

You Will Need:

  • One 9”x9” Baking Pan
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1 Packet of Key Lime Crust and Key Lime Filling

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine 3 Tbsp. room temperature butter and 1 packet of Key Lime Crust Mix, with a spatula knead butter into crust mix until dough forms. (Crust will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until crust is fully incorporated and holds into a ball, this can take 2 full minutes of mixing). DO NOT ADD WATER
  3. Once crust is mixed, place in the middle of 9”x9” baking pan and spread with fingers and palm of hand evenly onto a lightly greased (sprayed) 9”x9” baking pan.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 7 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Directions For Baking

You Will Need:

  • One 12 Cup Muffin Tin
  • ½ Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • 3 Large Eggs

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine all ingredients and with a spatula mix completely. (Batter will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until batter is fully incorporated).
  3. Once batter is mixed, spray muffin tin with non stick spray and fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 12 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

You Will Need:

  • Cookie Sheet
  • 1/2 Cup (8 Tbsp.) Butter
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Packet of Cookie Mix

(All ingredients should be room temperature).

Baking Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium size bowl combine all ingredients and with a spatula mix completely. (Cookie dough will seem too dry at first; continue mixing until dough is fully incorporated, this can take 2 full minutes of mixing). DO NOT ADD WATER!
  3. Once dough is mixed, roll dough into 1-2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet 2-3 inches apart.
  4. Place in oven, on middle oven rack and bake for 8 minutes. (do not overcook)
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool on cookie sheet.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 till dough is gone.
