The many causes of reflux & heartburn - gut health, acid blockers

Getting beyond blocking, inhibiting, and restricting acid for reflux and heartburn requires a little understanding and a change of approach.

❓️Why do you have reflux and heartburn?
🔹Whenever there is pressure and volume in the abdomen it can weaken or relax the lower esophageal sphincter (LES).
🔹Whenever you have poor digestion, it can weaken or relax the LES.
🔹When your LES weakens or relaxes enough it lets acid pass.

Only in rare circumstances does too much acid cause reflux and heartburn (Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome).

You are more likely to have too little stomach acid, which is caused by things such as gastritis, H. pylori overgrowth, and acid blockers. This leads to indigestion that comes with reflux and heartburn.

What's the answer?🤔
✅️ Reduce upper abdominal pressure and improve digestion.
✅️ Strengthen the gut barrier to protect against acid and help with acid secretion.
✅️ Clean out H. pylori overgrowth (Do a cleanup that addresses H. pylori overgrowth as Step 2 to your reflux and heartburn protocol).

‼️When the stomach is inflamed it causes indigestion, which causes reflux and heartburn.

What's the answer?
Build the stomach barrier and do a full stomach cleanup. One of the most common causes of an inflamed stomach lining is bacterial imbalances.

What do we suggest?
DM us #Reflux+Motility on Instagram @silverfernbrand.

After you do the Reflux+Motility protocol for 90 days please move to the cleanup protocol (Step 2). DM us Pathogen Protocol.

This is an effective way to help with reflux and heartburn issues.

Note: You can stay on a normal dose of Motility and Reflux when doing a clean-up process (Step 2). This will continue to help with regularity and digestive barrier build-up needs.*
